Carl Wilbanks

Carl has worked for Pfizer his entire career. Carl joined Pfizer Labs Division in Athens, Georgia, in 1985, after graduating from Florida Southern College with a degree in Marketing/Management. During his tenure with Pfizer, Carl has held positions of increasing responsibility from Professional Sales Representative, to District Hospital Representative, to District Manager and Regional Manager. In 1998, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales for the former Alta Division, where he was responsible for the performance, training and development of more than 700 sales managers and health care representatives supporting a diverse product portfolio. In 2001 he became Senior Vice President of the Health Care Cluster, where he was responsible for Pfizer’s Managed Markets Sales Force. In 2005, Carl was named Executive Vice President of Sales, heading Pfizer’s U.S. sales organization of more than 11,000 representatives and managers and in February 2007, he assumed the role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Steere Business Unit. In 2009 Carl assumed his current role as US Regional President, Primary Care Southeast.

Carl lives in Dunwoody with his wife, Jill, and they have three daughters in college.
