Jessica Gill, MPH, MCHES
Executive Director, Cobb Senior Services
Ms. Gill brings extensive experience and knowledge to the Thanks Mom & Dad Fund Board having served the aging population throughout her entire career. Currently she serves as the Executive Director of Cobb Senior Services managing eight county facilities and all programs and services for those 55+.
Prior to her current position she served as a Manager of Business Development for Sunrise Senior Living. She was a Public Health Advisor with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) in the Division of Population Health, Healthy Aging Program. She also led the Health and Wellness efforts for the Atlanta Regional Commission, Area Agency on Aging.
In addition, Ms. Gill has served as chair of the Atlanta Healthy Aging Coalition, and co-chair of the Atlanta Care Transitions group, regional strategic planning bodies comprised of hospital systems, private and non-profit organizations, governmental entities and universities.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from Springfield College, a master’s in Public Health from South Connecticut State University, and a gerontology certificate from Boston University. She is also a Certified Geriatric Care Manager having experience working with patients suffering from dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease and other mood disorders.
Ms. Gill also is a member of the Fuqua Center for Late-life Depression Advisory Board as well as the Cobb County Elder Abuse Task Force and the Cobb Executive Women.
